PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Our Mission Presbyterian Women offers opportunities for women to strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible study, prayer, discipleship, and fellowship, so that we may serve the Lord in our personal lives, our church, our community, and our world.
We encourage our new church members as well as women who are current church members, but not actively involved in these opportunities to join other women at First Presbyterian in growing spiritually, enjoying fellowship, and serving our Lord in the ways that best fit your needs, time, gifts, and talents.
Coordinating Team The Presbyterian Women’s Coordinating Team meets monthly for an information and idea exchange. The purpose of the program and organization of the Presbyterian womenis to provide opportunities for individual women and those in groups,
to grow in the knowledge of Christ.
Circles There are presently 4 circles giving opportunities of service to God and to others. Schedules are printed in the weekly newsletter and in the bulletins. A vital part of each meeting is the Bible study presented by dedicated Bible study leaders. We have two morning circles – Circle 1 meets on Monday @10:00AM at the
church. Lisa Chappell is the Circle Leader (355-0201). Cypress Glen Circle meets on Tuesday @10:00AM at Cypress Glen (but not limited to Cypress Glen residents). Connie Bond is the Circle Leader (752-8179). Our two night circles are Circle 3, which meets Monday @ 7:30 PM in members’ homes. Elaine Nagy is the Circle Leader (321-6561). Circle 6 meets Tuesday @ 7:00 PM in members’ homes. Jeri Jackson (215-0648) and Gail Joyner (756-0501) are the Circle Leaders. Each circle has its own very rewarding mission project for the year.
