ULSTER PROJECT—SUMMER 2009
The Greenville Ulster Project is now accepting teen and host family applicants to participate
in this summer’s program. Ulster Project is an annual global mission that invites highly
motivated Northern Ireland teens of Catholic and Protestant religions to spend a month
immersed in an environment that is free of religious conflict with US teens of similar religion,
age and gender. Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian and Catholic teens and their
families in Greenville are sought as hosts and participants. NI teens are scheduled to arrive
June 25 and depart July 23. Teens should be at least 14 and a half to 15 years of age
at the start of the program. Through a program of events including community service,
social gatherings, ecumenical worship, discussions of discovery, and family life, teens view
an interaction not common in a strife-torn culture. Please consider participating in this life
awarding opportunity. For more information, contact Michael Metcalf 355-2062
