is a caring ministry in which one person reaches out to another during a time of need or crisis.

Stephen Ministers offer encouragement and friendship. It is an ongoing helping relationship in

which people who need help get help.

Among the members of First Presbyterian are lay persons called STEPHEN MINISTERS

who have been trained and commissioned by this congregation to provide Christian care to others. 

The care of a Stephen Minister can be a source of God’s strength, comfort, and guidance during our time of need.
